摘要：It is common knowledge that sustenance of human life is dependent on mother nature and man is exploiting the undeveloped areas to meet the increasing demands of the growing population. Environment has become a global concern. In the present study an attempt has been made by the researcher to find the relationship of environment awareness with pre-service and in-service elementary and secondary school teachers of Jhajjar district. It reveals that the in-service teachers at secondary school level have better environment awareness than that of pre-service teachers at secondary level and pre-service teacher at elementary level posses a significantly higher environmental awareness than that of secondary level teachers.
