摘要:This survey was done to investigate the effect of teaching experimental science by computer to elementary students. Among elementary schools of Yazd 7 schools were randomly selected. One class of each school was selected as the control group and a second c lass as the experimental group. The students in the experimental group were taught by the use of multimedia software and computers for two weeks and the control group were taught traditionally by their own teacher for the same period of time. To assess the impact of these two methods of teaching, a teacher - made - test was developed and students' performance on this test was compared on three levels of knowledge, performance and application. The results showed that students' learning of the subject matter in t he experimental group was significantly higher than students in the control group. The study revealed no significant difference between male and female students' learning by multimedia computer software.
