摘要：By acknowledging the importance of grammar, the study throws some lighton the ways and techniques for teaching grammar and it is undertaken to find outthe reason as to how and why the learners of English fail to acquire the use ofEnglish grammar while learning English. This study aims at developing grammaticalcompetence among students. Since, grammar is an inseparable part of languageteaching, this study tries to explore the strict confine to the learning on the use ofEnglish grammar at the higher secondary level.
