摘要:This study examines the impact of Discussing Your Feelings with SomeoneElse as an implicit vocabulary learning strategy of Iranian intermediate EFL learners.In order to identify the aforementioned group in terms of language proficiency, anObjective Placement Test was administered to a population of 130 intermediateundergraduate EFL students at the Omidiyeh Islamic Azad University in Khouzestan,Iran. Ultimately, sixty intermediate students were selected and assigned into twoexperimental and control groups. The experimental group was taught vocabularylearning strategy through Discussing Your Feelings with Someone Else as an implicitvocabulary learning strategy for developing their vocabulary storage in readingcomprehension. After ten sessions of treatment, the two groups were given a post-testof an achievement vocabulary test. Data analysis was conducted through samples tteststatistics. It demonstrated that the experimental group who utilized DiscussingYour Feelings with Someone Else as an implicit vocabulary learning strategyoutperformed the control group.
