摘要:The present review is an attempt to draw a portrait of CALL research from threepoints of research effort. First a definition and history of CALL is discussed. Then through achronological order, the phases of CALL, or in other words, CALL programs typology andapproaches to CALL research are introduced. Then via a number of prominent research studies,the general orientations as well as modern movements of instructional technology, known asnormalization is addressed.
