  • 摘要:This study was performed with the aim of studying the effect of individual and organizational factors, job satisfaction and social support (head nurse and colleagues) at the nurses' turnover intention. This study was post-event study and population size was 1476 individuals, 302 nurses were participated in it who was working at hospitals in Sari, Iran. The data were analyzed through one-way ANOVA and Pearson correlation using SPSS version 21. Results showed that components of head nurse support and colleague support had no effect on turnover intention and job satisfaction had an effect on turnover intention (p>0.000), as well as work experience had an effect on turnover intention. Also, the support of head nurse had effect on job satisfaction (p>0.000) and colleague support on job satisfaction (p>0.000) and head nurse support on colleague support (p>0.000). The results indicated that hospital and nursing managers can be able to have positive impact on colleagues support and job satisfaction and cause reducing turnover intention by considering the head nurse individual differences and more support such as creating appropriate shifts and capable work teams.
