摘要：This study was performed in order to investigate the mediating role of narcissism on the empathy relationship and inter personal relationships quality among senior managers. The research method was collecting descriptive information (corelation) and the porpuse was applied. The population was consisted of 140 senior managers in Tehran that were selected based on simple randomized stratification sampling among the population. Data collection tools were included three valid questionnaires. Inventory of Interpersonal Problems (IIP-60) measures interpersonal problems in six areas of assertiveness, sociability, obedience, sincerity, responsibility and avoidance. Margolis Thomas narcissism scale (MTNS) and emotional empathy questionnaire. Minimum and maximum scores of subject in empathy scale will be 33 and 297, respectively. Collected data were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics including frequency distributions and graphs, and structural equation modeling by softwares. The results indicated that the narcissism mediate significantly the relationship between empathy and the quality of interpersonal relationships
