摘要：With regard to the importance of the financial system and the need for a comparative approach in social studies, this article studies and explains the features of the financial system in the Achaemenid Empire. In collecting the information of this research (study of documents, books, articles and other library resources),»note «tool and note-taking and encoding the data according to the statistical population have been used. According to the qualitative method of data, the qualitative content analysis (content analysis arrow) has been used. The data of this research which have been collected since September 2014 to December 2015, are related to the years since 559 BC to 330 BC. The research result shows that the sources of the financial system in that era include: taxes, tax concessions, tolls, incomes, gifts and offerings, and more; In the end, a model according to the input, process and output for the financial system in the Achaemenid Empire has been compiled and presented.
