摘要：The culture of each society is the most important and influential factors to advance the goals of thatsociety, and born of time and place, and perhaps could not prefer the impact of none of these two factors of time andplace on the other. But with technology progress and industry modernization, culture and identity is fading, and thiswould cause a concern titled revival and revitalization keeping of the legacy of the past for future generations.Social and cultural centers and spaces in the city environment are created as a consequence of social needs andactivities in order to supply them. In other words these centers are a location to integrate social needs and activitiesin order to prolong social life of the civic community. This article collection has taken step in order to design acultural center to supply the cultural and social needs of the people in Rasht city, and aims to design a location withpast culture continuation. The research method is analytical-descriptive and questionnaire has been used to collectdata, the selected statistical population is in Rasht, and a sample size is 120 persons who have chosen in randomamong old tradespeople of the city, passersby, and familiar with city and traditions. Raw data has been analyzed intwo stages, and then questionnaire information was analyzed by spss software, and finally the results were derived.The results indicate that only the use of traditional design items cannot be in accordance with the daily wishes andneeds of the residents
