摘要：City is a dynamic system which grows, develops and its body changes affected by cultural, social,economic and natural factors during history. Considering the principle of balance in this complex structure leads toits sustainability and development. A city will be beautiful and healthy if its old body and components are restoredand used according to new needs as well as developing and creating new spaces. Worn-out textures are in fact thepreliminary core and history of many cities which have social and physical exhaustion derived from social andgeographical mutual effects, therefore they require organizing. The study area is a part of Zahedan big neighborhoodand old neighborhood of Rasht city and its buildings are more than one and half century years old which areconsidered as historical and worn-out textures so weaknesses and strengths and potentials of this area will be studiedin this research and the aim is organizing mentioned texture through urban sustainable development approach. Themethodology is descriptive analytical and questionnaire has been used in order to collect data. Selected statisticalpopulation has been in Rasht and sample volume was 100 people who were chosen randomly among shopkeepersand tradespeople living in neighborhood. Raw data were analyzed in two steps and then the information ofquestionnaires was analyzed using SPSS software and results were extracted in the end. The results represent thatconsidering sustainable development indexes, organizing can cause dynamicity and promotion of neighborhoodquality and economic organizing will be more effective on neighborhood quality promotion than social andenvironmental organizing.
