摘要:Every year many companies get interested in establishing standards and efficiency methods and putthem among their working plans. All methods that are involved in promotion of efficiency are at least based on threeareas of hardware, software and human ware. Efficacy based on promotion of workers can be implemented byvarious methods; particularly 5-S. 5-S causes the optimization of organization’s processes and reduces the lossesand time of production and by its use, the quality of products increases and the damages of the equipment reach tominimum. In this study, the researchers seek the issue if implementing 5-S in manufacturing factories of ducts andprofiles will cause change in various criteria of quality or not. Based on that the extent of stops of production linesof the duct and profiles factory of Hadid Semnan was analyzed in a case study. The main goal of the researchers isto find out the difference in means and variance of the time of stops and extent of the losses of the production beforeand after the implementation of 5-S system. The results found show the success in causing this difference
