摘要：With the rising penetration of smart phones inthe consumer market, mobile multimedia content isbecoming the dominant form of information that peopleproduce and consume on a daily basis. In this paper wepresent a wireless multi-hop video streaming application formobile phones with the Android operating system. Thisapplication allows to share live information captured bymobile phone sensors (e.g., camera, microphone) withpersons that might be multiple wireless hops away. The videostreaming is based on peer-to-peer communication betweenmobile phones, i.e. without the use of video processing serversor network infrastructure. We show the feasibility of suchpeer-to-peer video streaming application for Android phonesin a variety of experiments that evaluate various videostreaming scenarios, including various video codecs andvarious generations of Android phones
