摘要：The paper presents the new method of data processing and designing a database for the needs of capability producing topographic maps. Also it presents the new possibilities of the cartographic-reproduction preparing of data for printing and publishing. The program packages Microstation, ArcGIS and PS/M were used. Numerous information related to the geospatial, which can be quickly obtained by using GIS technology, confirms the indispensability and justification of applying modern computer equipment, as well as of designing geodatabase in map publishing.
