- 摘要:hispaperpresentsanewremotelysensedsolutionformonitoringtherecoveryofalargedisaster-affectedarea.ItexploitsthepowerfuldatagridandcomputinggridtechnologiesdevelopedonGEO(GlobalEarthObservation)Gridsystem.AccessingtheASTERportalsiteofGEOGrid,allthenecessaryASTERmulti-spectralimagesandon-demandASTERdigitalelevationmodel(DEM)areeasilyandquicklycollected.Subsequently,satelliteimagesareautomaticallyanalyzedonagrid-basedcomputingmechanism.Thecoreprocessingisanewlydevelopedcontext-basedmappingapproachnamedscalingcontextimageanalysis.PhangaprovinceofThailand,whichwasstronglyattackedbythe2004IndianOceantsunami,isselectedasthedemonstrationsite.FourASTERdatasetsacquiredonNovember15,2002(pre-event);December31,2004(justafter-event);February8,2005andJanuary26,2006(post-event)areused.Theefficiencyindatacollectionanddatacomputationisthemeritoftheproposedsolution
