摘要：The recent innovation in on-line mapping has made the significant impact to the geomatics community. It changes the way people use and communicate with geospatial information and people do businesses. The presentation will share with audience the Microsoft vision on its Virtual Earth program. It will address new perspectives about 3D mapping and its uses for consumer applications. Dr Tao will present how 3D mapping becomes an enabling element for navigation, entertainment and social networking. Demonstrations of Microsoft new technologies will also be provided
