摘要：QuickMap is an advanced cartographic software, easy-to-use yet powerful and extensive in functionality, embeddable out-of-box solution for image feature coding and map generation. It is a low cost interpretation tool that provides cartographic functionality to annotate images and generate maps with required scale and customizable layout (including North Symbol, title, image source, Map ID and Map category, corner lat – longs, scale bar). This software supports utilities to save the features in shapefile format with symbols and coordinate system information. Image with annotation & layout can be saved. This application is developed using MapObjects and VB on windows platform as an Active – X Control that can be embedded in any other application
