摘要:3D reconstruction from multiple images is one of the most attractive and challenging research fields in photogrammetry and computer vision. One of the practical applications of 3D reconstruction techniques is automated generation of Digital Surface Models (DSMs) from satellite or airborne images. However, it is not easy to obtain a reliable DSM through image matching mainly due to the complexity of urban environments and lack of adequate information for accurate matching. A recently developed commercial Airborne Digital Sensor ADS40 can provide plentiful information and detailed description of complex urban features. Thus, there is a great demand for development of corresponding new strategies to exploit the abundant information and special characteristics of the new sensor.
