摘要:A new filtering method of airborne laser scanner data has been developed that is suitable for complex terrain, that is flat but with artificial depression such as openings of underground tunnels, typical in highly developed urban areas. The method firstly selects lowest points in small patches from laser scanner data. Then inappropriate points for ground estimation is removed based on statistics within a buffer around the point. The method was tested and gave fairly good result with the laser scanner data of Shinjuku, Tokyo where many skyscrapers and openings to underground tunnel exist
