摘要：In December 1998 the International Institute for Aerospace Survey and Earth Sciences (ITC), Enschede The Netherlands and the Federal School of Survey (FSS) at Oyo, Nigeria signed a preliminary collaboration document, whereb y the two institutions would cooperate in modernizing the curricula offered at FSS. The project will address the problem of capacity building and capacity utilization in surveying and mapping organizatio ns as well as training institutions in Nigeria by strengthening the FSS. The paper describes briefly the educational collaboration between the two institutes in the field of geoinformatics
