  • 摘要:The paper presents a new approach for integrating data uncertainty into a hybrid GIS environment. Such a hybrid systemcan process raster data as well as vector data in an integrated manner taking uncertainty into account. For this purposea hybrid data model is defined and extended to manage data uncertainty. The uncertainty description is based onprobability measures. The consequences for the analysis methods are demonstrated by two selected operations. First,we concentrate on raster-vector-conversion which is often applied in a hybrid system and secondly treat polygon overlay.Some examples help to clarify the modifications made for these functions.
