摘要：In this paper, the concept of plane ~-angle coordinate system isput forward. The characteristics of plane «-angle cordinate systemand its relations to plane rectangular coordinate system arediscussed . The expression forms of parameters as distance, area,azimuthal angle and angle of intersection in plane ~ -anglecoordinate system are given. As its application, the effects oncoordinates,distance,area,azimuthal angle and angle of intersection,because of Digital Coordinate Instrument's x-axis and y-axis beingnot rectangular are analyzed respectively . Also a simple andpractical method for calculating the angle of Digital CoordinateInstrument's x-axis and y-axis is developed
