摘要:Two raster algorithms for solving problems iIi surfacemodelling are presented. A raster-based triangulationallows for a simple consideration of constraint edgesand thus improves computational complexion of theconstrained triangulation to a great extent. A medialaxis method derives geomorphological elements, e.g.peaks, pits, saddle points, ridge and drainage lines,from a given set of contours and actually assists ingenerating a high-quality digital terrain model fromcontours. Examples demonstrate the efficiency of ajoint use of the two algorithms in terrain modelling
