摘要：A automatical elevation data acquisition systemnamed AEDAS is developed to generate DTMautomatically from the aerial stereo pair onMASSCOMP computer in Zhengzhou Institute ofSurveying & Mapping(ZISM). This paper describes thehardware configuration and software function. Thissoftware system can automatically or interactivelyrecognize and locate fiducial marks wi th the CHAMFERmatching method and finish relative orientation withthe feature-based method or hierarchical correlationmethod. Then epipolar resample and hierarchicalrelaxation correlation are executed, that is} thesystem finishes the DTM acquisition automatically.At last, the system gets orthphoto and completes thequati ty control. This software system was wri tten inC language.
