摘要:Six SPOT HRV images over Wiltshire, England were acquired. Allimages were atmospherically corrected. DNs were transformed intoinherent target reflectance. Bare soils were identified on the images,and correlation equations between reflectances of the three HRVbands were derived by simple linear regression analysis. Two artificialsoils data samples were then created according the equations. TheGram-Schmitd process was used to derive the BRIGHTNESS,GREENNESS and the THIRD COMPONENT. It is found that the THIRDcomponent contains less than 5% of the total information. TheBRIGHTNESS and GREENNESS created by using two bands (one visibleand the NIR) were compared with their equivalent features created byusing all the three bands. It is found that the BRIGHTNESS andGREENNESS features of two bands contain less then 90% of the totalinformation.
