  • 摘要:The need for fast, safe and centralized handling of digitalgeometric data led to the development of extensive data bases.Then, increased claims on information called for links betweensuch data and additional information.In Land Information Systems (LIS), for instance, the relationsbetween geometric and thematic, descriptive information aredefined in relational data bases.In order to be integrated into such LIS, data collectedphotogrammetrically must first be adequately structured. Sinceit should be possible to update such data economically, a database is required. This, however, is easil iy done in modularstructured systems.since 1980, the introduction of analytical stereoplotters hasconsiderably changed the methods of photogrammetric datacapture. In the 90s, the advent of pattern recognitiontechniques used in conjunction with powerful correlationalgorithm will enhance automation in photogrammetry byeliminating certain monotonous routine work.The Kern Integrated Photogrammetric System pioneers solutionswill become standard practice within the next few years
