摘要:For analytical stereop lotters, orientation of stereopairs is the fundamental process inaerial triangulation, and therefore integral part of it. Hence, in a user-oriented envi ronment,orientation and bridging should be solved as rigorously, automatically, logicallyand naturally as possible. This means, e .g.: no distinction between relative andabsolute orientat ion, avoidance of point identification entries, simple distinction betweendifferent types of points, automated positioning according to available information,easy sw itching between plotter and comparator mode. In order to achieve thesespecifications, adequate statistical a priori information must be introduced, and an optimalsolution be provided for the orientation parameters in real time. The paper is anattempt to specify such a solution by means of a structured program of ·the real timeorientation loop. Preliminary results based on APL simulations seem to iustify therelevanceof the approach.
