摘要:Anise extract, was investigated as green corrosion inhibitor of carbon steel in 1 M HCl solution using weightloss, potentiodynamic polarization, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and electrochemical frequencymodulation (EFM) techniques. Surface morphology was tested using scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energydispersive X-ray (EDX). The adsorption of the inhibitors on carbon steel surface was found to obey the Langmuir’sadsorption isotherm. The activation and adsorption parameters were calculated and discussed.
