摘要:Reliability has always been an important issuewith electronic systems ever since the first electronic systemswere designed. compared to the biological systems, theelectronic systems are so fragile that even a single problemcan occurs then the total system useless. Therefore, devisingfault-tolerant systems that can deal with such delicateproblems has been a considerable challenge. During theearly stages of the development of fault-tolerant systems,dual modular redundancy (DMR) and triple modularredundancy (TMR) methods were introduced. Thesetechniques ran the same modules in parallel, and thus afaulty module could be distinguished by comparing outputsof the same modules and voting for the majority one (withTMR) or by using an additional device (with DMR).However, these methods are only detect the fault and it can’tbe replace the faultless part instead of faulty part in a systemwhen the fault occurrence.The size of the module is so hugethat a large part of the circuit must be replaced even if asmall part in the module is malfunctioning. In this paper, wepropose a self-repairing system that the faulty part or cellcan be replaced by the faultless part or cell in a system..so itincreases the reliability.
