摘要:The directivity is of a planar type of antenna is highly depends upon the fringing fields. Also thesubstrate material gives high impact on the directivity of the patch antenna. This paper provides a way of controllingthe emission of fringing fields from undesired direction and increase the directivity by forced all the fringing fieldsthough the observed direction. Also the performance of antenna using different substrate material is observed.
