摘要:Image processing is any type of signal processing for which we give an image as input. Digital imageprocessing is the use of much type of computer algorithms to perform image processing on digital images. Imagesquality is often degraded by noises. Noise can occur during image capture, transmission or by film grain in it etc. Noiseremoval is an important task in image processing. In general, the results of the noise removal have a strong influence onthe quality of the image processing technique. Many techniques are for noise removal as well established in colorimage processing. Noise removal problem the nature of this depends on the type of the noise corrupting the image. Inthe field of image noise reduction, several linear and nonlinear filtering methods have been proposed. Linear filters arenot able to effectively eliminate impulse noise as they have a tendency to blur the edges of an image. On the other handnonlinear filters are suited for dealing with impulse noise. Several nonlinear filters based on Classical and fuzzytechniques have emerged in the past years. Image edge detection is a process of locating the edge of an image which isimportant in finding the approximate absolute gradient magnitude in gray scale image.
