  • 摘要:The objective of this study is to develop a better understanding of the effects of spindle speed (S), cuttingfeed rate (f) and depth of cut (d) on power consumption and to build a suitable mathematical model. Such anunderstanding can provide insight into the problems of estimating the power requirements of machined surfaces whenthe process parameters are adjusted to obtain a certain responses like power consumption. This paper aims at presentingthe techniques that can be employed to predict the effect of speed, feed and depth-of-cut to generate information thatwill allow us to understand and model the relationship between the process variables and measures of the processperformance
