摘要:Now a day’s one of the critical issues in athermal power plant is to improve the efficiency ofindividual equipment. The various works found inliterature shows that efficiency and availability dependson high reliability and maintainability of the equipments.But in present scenario with the concept of e–maintenance reduces the overall maintenance cost. Theuse of intelligent fault detection systems plays animportant role for fault diagnosis and supervision inprocess control. Artificial intelligent applications inprocess control helps in timely detection, diagnosis andcorrection of abnormal operating condition in the thermalpower plants. When the plant is in operating conditionand within controllable region, detection and diagnosis ofprocess faults at very early stage improves overallefficiency of operation.This paper, presents the theoretical approach onuse of intelligent system for fault monitoring, control andfault diagnosis of thermal power plant operation. . So asto utilise minimum fuel to generate maximum steam asper demand of load which lead to thermal power plantoptimization. The main objective of this paper is toproposed data driven, analytical and knowledge basedapproaches for thermal power plant by integrating variousearlier solutions available for optimization of processoperation.
