摘要:In the recent days DFIG has been themost favorite option for wind power harnessing. Mostresearch in the area of wind power generation system isbased upon the control and performance improvement ofthe DFIG as a generator in variable speed wind energysystems. The slow and complex dynamics of the DFIGmakes it a challenging task for high performance controlstructures. In this paper a DFIG based variable speed windenergy system is considered. A hysteresis currentcontroller based stator flux oriented vector control schemeis implemented for the high performance control of thesystem. The control scheme relies upon two conventionalPI controllers and three hysteresis band current controllersfor the control purpose. The system is evaluated underdifferent types of disturbances and the results areproduced in this paper.
