  • 摘要:As the conventional sources of powergeneration are reducing every day there is a strong needfor a sustainable and clean source of power which couldsupply the need. Wind energy conversion systems play avery vital role in production of clean and sustainableenergy. In this paper, a DFIG based wind energy systememploying DFIG as the power generator is modeled. Toimprove the transient and steady state performance andthe power factor of generation, a stator flux orientedvector control scheme is used in this work. The vectorcontrol structure employs conventional PI controllers forthe decoupled control of the stator side active and reactivepower. This paper emphasizes only on the control of therotor side bidirectional converter. The whole system ismodeled and simulated using Matlab/Simulink and theresults are analyzed.
