摘要:In the recent years Permanent magnetSynchronous Machines have proved themselves fairlysuitable to be used as power generators in variable speedwind energy conversion systems. Due to their high powerfactor operation and maintenance free operation thesemachines are gaining attention of researchers andmanufacturers. In this paper A PMSG based wind energysystem has been proposed, where the PMSG is connectedto the grid through two back to back bidirectionalconverters .This work only emphasizes on the control ofthe machine side converter and the dc link voltage isassumed to be constant. The machine-side converter(MSC) is controlled by a vector control strategy whichemploys a conventional PI controller and three hysteresisband controllers for the control of torque and speed. Dueto the vector control strategy decoupled control of torqueand flux has been achieved in this paper. The wholemodeling and simulation has been performed inMATLAB/SIMULINK and the results has been analyzedin the paper.
