  • 摘要:A Radial Distribution network isimportant in power system area because of its simpledesign and reduced cost. Impact of Distributed generationin radial distribution feeder is increased because of itsapplication of green technology and it also meet out someof the power system issues. Allocation of DistributedGeneration at non-optimal places leads to increasedpower loss and reduced bus voltage profile. To overcomethese power system issues Distributed Generation shouldbe optimally placed and sized at Radial DistributionFeeder. Optimal sizing of Distributed Generation can becalculated using analytical expression and an efficientapproach is used to determine the optimum location forDistributed Generation Placement. By proper sizing andallocation of Distributed Generation in RadialDistribution Feeder minimizes the power loss andimproves the voltage profile. To demonstrate theperformance of the proposed approach various radialdistribution systems was tested and validated withdifferent sizes and the results were discussed.
