摘要:Direct Torque Control is most widelyused in industrial standard for high power inductionmotor drives. The conventional DTC method uses thehysteresis-based voltage switching method which hassome drawbacks of higher torque ripple and speedpulsation. The main aim of the paper is to obtain theenhanced torque control and smooth flux trajectory. Theproposed approach uses the sensorless drive which isincorporated in Direct Torque Control to improve theperformance. Sensorless drive eliminates the shaftmounted speed encoder which is undesirable in a drivebecause it increases the cost and reliability problems.Sensorless method is used to estimate the speed signalwith the help of machine terminal voltages and currents.The proposed method is simulated with the help ofMATLAB and result shows that performances areimproved.
