  • 摘要:In vehicles the manufacturer provideanalog meter for displaying the parameters like speed,temperature, fuel level and so on. Analog meters lack inaccuracy, calibration, precision, robustness and shot lifetime when compared with the digital systems. So here weuse digital display called TFT (thin film transistor) whichis used to display the parameters of the vehicle ingraphical and in data form. When interfacing moresensors the microcontroller needs CAN (Controller AreaNetwork) bus. So PIC controller with in-built CANtransmitter and receiver which is for transmission andreception of data between the nodes. For a betterperformance of the CAN bus we use dynamic priorityprotocol. This can improve the real time transmission ofdata especially data with low priority. By using CAN buswe can reduce the complexity of the connection present inthe vehicle. TFT display has many advantages such asTFT monitors produce less heat and radiation making avery crisp image. The image displayed will be of lessglair/flicker with much finer quality-everything is muchclear and colors are more varied and defined.
