  • 摘要:Frequency deviations and inter-area tie-line powerfluctuations by a local load disturbance are a source ofinterconnected power system operation and control. This paperdescribes the application of artificial neural network (ANN) basedAdaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference system (ANFIS) for automaticgeneration control (AGC) of a three area hydro-thermal system.The proposed technique combines the advantages of fuzzy logiccontroller and adaptability nature of ANN. The objective of designis to improve the AGC performance by damping the frequencydeviations and tie-line power fluctuations in the interconnectedpower system. Simulation result shows the comparison of Integralcontroller, Fuzzy logic controller (FLC) and ANFIS controller. Theresults indicate that ANFIS controller exhibits better performancethan other controllers.
