  • 摘要:.Although there has been a demarcationbetween development and evolution (maintenance) ofsoftware, this is increasingly irrelevant as fewer andvery fewer systems are completely new. Additionally,once a software engineer understands a system'sstructure, it is difficult to preserve this understanding,because the structure tends to change duringmaintenance. So Software engineers greatly emphasizeon good modular structures as well modularizedsoftware is easier to develop and maintain. In thispaper, I propose two algorithms, one as a searchoptimization technique and another as a multiobjectivefitness evaluation function of the searchtechnique. The former one, I have labeled as ModifiedPareto Optimal Genetic Algorithm (Modified par-opGA) and the later one as Non-Dominance ModuleRanking Algorithm (Non-DMR). As the Fitnessfunction is a component of GA, I have embedded theNon-DMR within the Modified par-Op GA.
