摘要:This paper proposes an improvedmaximum power point tracking (MPPT) method forWind system using a fuzzy with PLL algorithm. Themain advantage of the method is the reduction of thesteady state oscillation (to practically zero) once themaximum power point (MPP) is located.Furthermore, the proposed method has the ability totrack the MPP for extreme environmental condition,e.g. large fluctuations of isolation and partial shadingcondition. The algorithm is simple and can becomputed very rapidly. To evaluate the effectivenessof the proposed method, MATLAB simulations arecarried out under very challenging conditions, namelystep changes in irradiance, step changes in load andpartial shading of wind array. The proposed methodin simulation shows it is efficient than theconventional controllers in terms of achievingmaximum wind power generation effectively withsteady state output compared to other conventionalcontrollers.
