摘要：This paper presents a three phase fifteenlevel cascaded H-bridge (CHB) multilevel inverter foropen end stator winding induction motor drivesystem. An inverted sine PWM method is used toachieve minimum total harmonics distortion (THD)in the output voltage of multilevel inverters. Theanalysis of the output voltage harmonics are carriedout and compared with the nine level conventionalcascaded H-bridge inverters. The proposed system isverified through simulation and the simulation resultsare compared with the conventional inverter. Fromthe result the proposed inverter offers much less totalharmonic distortion.
