摘要:In this paper a new three-phase,five -level inverter topology with a single dc sourceMulti level inverter based Dynamic Voltage Restorer(DVR) is presented to improve the Power quality indistribution system by injecting voltage in series forthe protection of sensitive loads against voltage sagsand voltage swells. The performance of the DVRdepends on control technique involved .In this paperfuzzy logic controller is used to control the injection ofvoltage when the fault occurs. Among the Powerquality issues voltage sags and voltage Swells aremajor problems which are concentrated in this paper.The DVR injects the voltage by Multi level inverterwhich converts dc voltage in the Energy StorageSystem (ESS) into ac and the amount of the injectionof voltage is controlled by the fuzzy logic controller.Simulation results are presented to illustrate andunderstand the performances of DVR in supportingload voltage by the waveforms of load voltage withoutDVR and with DVR. To evaluate the quality of theload voltage during the operation of DVR, TotalHarmonic Distortion (THD) is calculated.
