摘要:This paper proposes a new strategy forpower quality (PQ) improvement in a 3-Φ gridconnected photovoltaic (PV) system is proposed in thispaper. The Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO)maximum power point tracking (MPPT) scheme hasbeen used to force the PV generation to reach themaximum power operation. A battery energy storagesystem (BESS) along with a bi-directional DC/DCconverter is introduced to maintain constant DC busvoltage level in the DC bus. An inductively activefiltering method is used to improve the power qualityis used for both the distribution network (public grid)and in the power-supply system (nonlinear load)connected to the network. In this method harmoniccomponents can effectively prevented from flowing intothe primary (grid) winding of the transformer. Sincethe existing harmonic components are suppressed nearthe harmonic source itself, it is good for the powersupplysystem and especially for the convertertransformer & PQ of the public network can beguaranteed completely.
