摘要：Los cánones teóricos permiten describir o explicar las líneas generales del desarrollo científico de las disciplinas.Así sucede en el caso de la Lingüística y de su Historia.Ocurre a veces, no obstante, que estos cánones, aplicados a teorías situadas en los márgenes, pueden no ser suficientes o adecuados para describir una corriente, una escuela o un autor.El punto de vista adoptado en el libro Las ideas lingüísticas de John R.Firth (Elena Battaner, Münster, Nodus, 2014) se fundamenta, precisamente, en el hecho de que sólo desde una perspectiva ontológica de la teoría lingüística del británico pueden entenderse los rasgos principales de su pensamiento.La obra de Battaner sobre la teoría firthiana ofrece un análisis teórico e histórico que nos invita a reconsiderar el camino seguido por la Historiografía de la lingüística en el siglo XX.
其他摘要：Canons allow theorists to describe or explain the outlines of the scientific development of disciplines. This is also the case of Linguistics and its History. However, it occurs that sometimes these canons, applied to theories located in the margins, may not be sufficient or appropriate for describing a current, a School, or an author. The point of view adopted in Las ideas lingüísticas de John R. Firth (Elena Battaner, Münster, Nodus, 2014) is based precisely on the idea that John R. Firth’s linguistic theory can only be understood on an ontological basis. Battaner’s work on the Firthian theory offers a theoretical and historical analysis that invites us to reconsider the path followed by the Historiography of linguistics in the 20th century.
