摘要:The current paper describes themeasurement and analysis of the dynamic responseand status of the vehicle suspension elements on thebases of the MEMS inertial system. It consists of aninertial sensor network from at least two sensors,which are situated on the moving elements of thevehicle suspension. The system measures thesuspension element accelerations and calculates thefrequency response, attenuation time, resonancefrequencies and distance between moving parts. Thecalculated distance is compared with the adjustedclearance and the system accuracy is shown. It isshown that the system is capable to measure thedistances from 0.6 to 1.0mm with 0.1mm accuracy.The inertial data scanning is performed with asampling frequency of 160Hz, according to theexpected peak accelerations and translations.
