摘要：A Mobile Ad-hoc Network is a collection of wireless nodes that cooperatively form a network in the absence of any infrastructure or administration. In this paper we present an overview of position based routing protocols that make forwarding decisions based on geographical position of packet destination. Position based routing protocols need to know only the destination address and the address of one hop neighbours in order to reach destination. In this paper recent location based routing protocols are discussed and qualitative comparison of the approaches is given.
