摘要：This research article paper discusses the enhancement of a fingerprint impression with the help of anisotropic filter. The main aim of this paper is to discuss a fingerprint recognition system by extracting the minutiae of a fingerprint impression after applying the thinning and the minutiae extraction algorithm. The result provides better fingerprint impression with higher matching accuracy.
