摘要：Internet has been widely using thefirewalls for protecting the private networks. Security checksall incoming and outgoing packets and takes decisionaccording to its policy. Privacy is not being considered in thiscase and the number of rules in firewall policy files alsoexceeds in respective domains. Proposed work includesoptimization using anomaly detection and removal algorithmand the security is enhanced by protecting the firewall filesusing the cryptographic algorithms. The hybridcryptographic algorithm is implemented which performssymmetric AES-DES encryption with 128-bit key. Thisalgorithm uses multiple ciphers of different types together.Security system tends to use a hybrid solution to increase thesecurity and speed of the policy file which is to be encrypted.This security is provided to the firewalls from differentdomains which reduces the processing time and improves thenetwork performance.
