摘要:In this present work on predator-prey system, a disease transmission model,incorporating provisions for harvesting of prey have been discussed and analyzed. The diseasespread is from infected prey to predator species. The SI models are considered for both thespecies. Conditions are derived for existence and stability of disease free equilibrium state ofthe system. The effect of harvesting of prey has been analyzed from point view of the stabilityof system. The epidemiological threshold 0 R and 1 R quantities have been obtained using nextgeneration approach for the model system. Conditions for endemic disease in prey species arediscussed. This study also considers the impact of disease in prey on the extinction aspect of thepredator. Numerical and computer simulations of the model have been done.
